I still to this day usually use that coupe for shaken drinks and the Nick&Nora's for stirred ones. The coupe allows a generous pour for shaken drinks, maybe a ~1.5x or a bit less scaled typical recipe in a cocktail book, while still allowing me to carry a glass or two across the room or down stairs with my not ready for prime time cocktail waitressing balance skills.<br />Pantagruelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00334957213312236497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3939809355598070608.post-6937882872637852682019-01-26T11:54:42.564-05:002019-01-26T11:54:42.564-05:00I just ordered the Nick & Nora's and am so...I just ordered the Nick & Nora's and am so excited! She said it dissolves in your mouth but has the consistency sort of like a fatback meets a pork shoulder. She believes it is the lining meet because there isn't a lot of it. She said it was expensive for being something people used to ignore. She said the popularity is almost of how tri-tip is huge now. Anyway I still haven't figured out exactly where it was and that could explain the secret name. Anyway... awesome article. If you're ever in Spain in Chiclana check out my uncles restaurant Rocka n Burger bar. Still a great awesome american Italian restaurant with good home based food.
